My name is Maggie and I am an artist.
If you're here for my artwork I suggest you follow my art blog instead as this blog is a mishmash of silliness and personal posts.
This blog can and will contain artwork (mine and others), personal posts, occasional fandom posts, cute animals, selfies, and social justice sometimes.
I am dealing with depression and anxiety and sometimes might talk about it.
If you ever need someone to talk to or share your problems with, my ask box is open to you.

Oh my god, that is so gross. Ugh ugh ugh. I’m literally twitching with disgust over here, STEPHEN KING WHY WOULD YOU…
Supposedly, and… I guess it depends on your ATTITUDE towards…
It sounds like I’d have to read it for myself to judge, but to be honest I’ve never really had any interest at all in reading IT. I started once like eight years ago, but it just didn’t interest me, and I found the gay bashing-as-plot device in the prologue or whatever really distasteful. This conversation is not exactly making me eager to give it a second shot. XD
I’ve always thought Stephen King was weird about sex. Not in a hang-up sort of way, I think you’re right about that. Just. I’m not sure how to describe it, really. It just feels weird, the way he uses it in his stories.
Gosh he wrote that in the eighties where gay people weren’t really a thing. >.o But he’s always seemed accepting of it even if he uses it as a plot device. Not that he’s perfect. Just better than a lot of writers out there.
I’d like to think he wouldn’t use those things as a plot device now.
